A Man, A Plan, Ampersand

I have to tell you, I'm in love with that little ampersand sitting at the bottom of the hill on the right side of this volley by Mig. I don't know what it means or why it's there, but I love it. That's all. A simple story of an ampersand and the commentator who loves it. That's what you all came here to see today, right? A little innocent man-ampersand love?

No? Ok, what else is going on with Mig's shot here? There's a little boy taking what looks like a bite out of the Earth. Well, he already took a big chunk out of it, but he's going back for more. There's also a bit more math perhaps...Y > Z? Or perhaps not. That's a nice Z, by the way. I mean, not as fetching as my little Ampie, but still.

Musical interlude.

In the green room earlier, I asked everyone what they were listening to as they worked:

Mark: Boards of Canada
Mig: no music, but listening to the sounds of his coworkers heckling him
Jim: classical on Minnesota Public Radio
Jason: Tron Legacy soundtrack and Ladytron

No headphones for Mig at a busy office? Brave man.

Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Jason Kottke.
