I’m Feeling Your Wall and I Like What I’m Feeling

1884 fans, now we're getting somewhere! Gone are maps, appearing are books (with a subtle Braille wallpaper behind), and the argument gains a new dimension.

(Wait, holy bananas, did I just invent Braille wallpaper? Has that been done before, or should I call my patent attorney? Can you imagine your living room done in Harry Potter, or something dirty by Henry Miller? Blind interior decorators, call me, I have notions to burn.)

So Frank makes a valuable point. Linotype made printing faster and easier, and as a result we now have books flying out of machines, 750,000 every second or something. I mean, it's gotten so bad that Nick Hornby needs me to feel bad for watching Burn Notice to get me to buy his latest novel, which probably was about music and guys who don't date good, I think.

Anyway, kudos to Frank, kudos to Linotype. The argument's pushed and our match goes one step forward. Though I'll complain that, graphically, this is all pretty dull, right? Where's the dish? Where's color, sex, fire?

Fans, countrywomen, those who too love Dolly, I want more Boom.

Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Rosecrans Baldwin.
