Emorys back, hell on two wheels.
Turns out the monster was just gently lifting red guy up to the back seat of his tandem bicycle. And even if his tiny red feet can't reach the pedals, he's having a fine time. "Weee" is technically four letters, but it's arguably a vocalized extension of the word "we" as in "weeeeee're having so much fun." Or to quote Mitch Hedberg, who seems to come up often in my commentary, "That's what you say when you're having fun. You refer to yourself and some other people." Amateur Etymologists unite!
Emory's sticking to his guns, stylistically, I expect Mark to change gears (no pun intended) in the next layer. I wonder if I can spell "Derailleur" correctly on my first try. Wow, I did it!
Song wise, dudes, I have to tell you about my favorite record of the year. If you're an aging hipster, what could be better than the alter-ego of a sorta-washed-up band that you still, sadly, think of as "new" doing a covers album ala David Bowie's "Pin Ups?" I could be talking about the Condo F**ks, but I'm not, I'm talking about Supergrass alter-ego Hot Rats, who (conveniently for this post) do a cover of Pink Floyd's "Bike." If you like Syd Barrett's songwriting but find the psychedelic flourishes of the original distracting, you will dig it. The Hot Rats do an amazing Cream/Who-styled Fight for Your Right to Party," too.
Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Bryan Bedell.
Our friends and longtime sponsors at Adobe have a quick survey for Layer Tennis fans. It would mean a lot to us if you could take a couple minutes between layers to answer some simple questions. Thanks a million.
Congratulations to Mig Reyes, Layer Tennis Season 3 Champion.

Here's how the voting works. Decide who you'd like to declare as winner and then simply tweet their first name following a hash mark. Either #mig or #noper and, this is important, also include #lyt in that tweet. We'll leave the voting open all weekend and announce our Season Three Champion on Monday.
