Time is where we began and time is where we ended, if time in fact can have an end at all.
Muller returns the last round of the game with layer to the 4th dimension (don't question my expertise in dimensions; this is what I do for a living). There are so many double entendres here that we might not fit them into a pound-think functional specification document. Stars have become literal and actual. Characters have passed from from medium to the next. And the rainbow, the blessed rainbow, is back.
As Maira Kalman would say over at the Pursuit of Happiness (not that we are talking about happiness), “In my family we do not say 'goodbye.' We say 'so long'.” These little 15 minutes have felt like so long, but so short. And it is now so long to you, dear fans, dear players, so long to you.
As for you, pointed out over there on your right, you the fans now get to vote to show who is to be the winner of this landmark match. Here's how that works. When the match here is over simply decide who you'd like to declare as winner and then tweet their first name following a hash mark. Either #oliver or #tom and importantly the #lyt hashtag.
Here at Layer Tennis HQ, we leave the voting open all weekend while we relax in the velvety commentator box. We'll announce the winner Monday. We only count your first vote so there's no sense in trying to stuff the ballot box. Also, there is no voting on Qualifying Matches.
Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Liz Danzico.
Congratulations to Mig Reyes, Layer Tennis Season 3 Champion.
Thanks to all the players, commentators and fans who made Season Three of Layer Tennis a big success. And thanks to the crew at Goodby Silverstein & Partners and all the folks at Adobe Creative Suite for making it possible. Watch this space (or sign up for Season Tickets or follow us on Twitter) for news about some special exhibition matches being planned and about Season 4.
Cast your votes on The Championship Match. Both Finalists will receive invitations to play in the post-season tournament for Season Four.
Here's how the voting works. Decide who you'd like to declare as winner and then simply tweet their first name following a hash mark. Either #mig or #noper and, this is important, also include #lyt in that tweet. We'll leave the voting open all weekend and announce our Season Three Champion on Monday.
