So let's quickly recap, here. We has a food fight with donuts. We had a decapitation. Someone took off their pants. We had a flat-out rejection.
And now ... things are getting nasty.
Enter the Middle Finger Association of America, with their stylized logo and legalese. (Given that the clients referred to themselves as "picky", one wonders if the index finger might have been better suited to their needs.) Have you notice the red, as it has evolved from round 3? First blood, then Xs, then a rubber-stamp rejection to a big "eff you". It seems to be the thread that is tying these volleys together, stitching them into a cohesive narrative.
Where to go from here? The battle has moved from branding to braining, as the contestants lug ever-blunter weapons into the fray. Matt and Armin now seem less interested in one-upping, and more intent on putting the other down for the count.
Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Matthew Baldwin.
