Both Japan and Switzerland are renowned centers of design, and the two are united in Oliver Reichenstein, a Swiss designer in Tokyo best known for the Web Trend Map that hangs proudly in the HQs of Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Wordpress, Yahoo! Japan, and the CERN. And speaking of hanging proudly, Mr Reichenstein, having hung in till the end, now presents us with the perfect visual koan with which to conclude our romp across continents and time zones.
For here, at the end of things, amid Icelandic volcanoes, Chinese earthquakes, and AT&T Wireless, Mr Richtenstein challenges us with a wordplay-cum-handplay that is at once taciturn and jejune, enigmatic and cyberlicious. If it is no longer morning in America, as he subtly taunts, it is also probably night in Japan. And in the end, etcetera, etcetera, Helvetica Aeternum, breaker nine, breaker nine.

Here's how the voting works. Decide who you'd like to declare as winner and then simply tweet their first name following a hash mark. Either #mig or #noper and, this is important, also include #lyt in that tweet. We'll leave the voting open all weekend and announce our Season Three Champion on Monday.
