We (I) have this (lame) running joke around the office (in my head). When we order baby pizzas from Salernos Pizza, I always (never) ask for mine with extra baby.
So does that mean "Walter Bytes" are made of Walter? That's pretty low, dude. And totally insensitive to Greg Hubacek's Korean heritage.
I gotta say, I think Greg's keeping Aaron on his toes here today, and steering the battered Econoline that I'm using as a cheap metaphor for this match. But Draplin is keeping it close, and he's always deadly in the final volley.
I've heard that DDC ping-pong balls were produced a few years ago, but the tennis ball must be new to the ever-expanding DDC mersh lineup.
Note: Layer Tennis HQ has awarded Aaron Draplin a Yellow Card for time violations. Just to mix another sports reference in. As long as it's not Tennis, which makes me think about Infinite Jest and my failures as a reader.
SOUNDTRACK:
Iggy's Dog Food. Note: video is tasteless. That song is on the Dogs In Space soundtrack, from the late-80s movie starring Michael Hutchence. The movie was kinda dumb but the post-glam-punk soundtrack was excellent, featuring some good original songs plus Eno, Gang of Four, and this early Nick Cave beauty.
Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Bryan Bedell.
