Futuraism Restated

In a surprise move, Draplin has deferred his serve to Hubacek.

That same decision was bad news for Glass two weeks ago, but Draplin has to be aware of that. He's squeezing Gregory's mind-grapes, and he obviously wants the last word.

Hubacek might have already fallen into Draplin's trap, he's started out with pretty much the same strategy from his quarterfinal and trying to out-Draplin Draplin. It worked last week, and he seems to be on target again, but he's not going to win two matches in a row on the same strategy. Maybe staying up all last night at a secret Prince concert (true story, but Prince didn't show up) wasn't the best idea. Me, I popped a Tylenol PM and went to bed at 8pm.

Still, Greg's polite-but-confident sentiment is solid, and there are still 9 blank rectangles to clutter up, so we'll see where this goes. My bet is Aaron retaliates with some pastel-colored 3-D motion graphics backed with techno music. Or more Futura.

SOUNDTRACK:
Here's the Minutemen's full Bean Spill EP which ends with Futurism Restated. (also, track 2 is the sweetness.) Though maybe this is more timely.
