Now there's something you don't often see in a Layer Tennis match: a response volley that contains an actual, spoken response to the words that proceeded it. Well played sir.
Still, I think we need to be cautious here, folks. This is supposed to be a pitched battle of wits, not a dialogue. Let's not turn this into the Montessori-version of a sport, where we respectfully object to either other's pejoratives and collaborate to build something greater that ourselves. And is that a dove of peace in the background? Fah! The people want blood, not My Layer Tennis Match with Andre.
Fortunately, there's now beer involved--stubbies even, from the looks of it--so presumably the event will return to its barroom-brawling roots in no time.
I also can't help but feel that, in responding to BDiF's Jay-Z reference, there could have been a ISO50 Cent joke here. DUDE YOU CAN TOTALLY USE THAT IN VOLLEY 10.
Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Matthew Baldwin.
