Jennifer was a little late on the return here, prompting me to wonder if she’d drawn each of those bugs by hand. Cmd-C, Cmd-V, Jennifer! (I should not be talking... I was late with the last commentary. I will do better!)
Sorry, necessary digression: In the entire history of Layer Tennis, no one has ever missed a volley...each competitor has always returned her opponent's file with the requisite changes. Now, I enjoy non-Layer tennis on a spectator basis only, so maybe I am missing something, but if no one ever misses a volley, how are any points ever scored? No points means no winners. No winner means what the hell are we all doing here? This whole thing doesn't seem to be very well though ou...hang on, I'm getting a communiqué from the owner's box, which is draped in a lovely shade of velvet. Ah, ok. Folks, it's just a metaphor. I repeat, metaphor.
Ok. back to the "volley".1 Speaking of, Jillian told me that the thing on the left side of volley three was a "peep hole" and therefore a metaphor for a glory hole, just as @benkutil suspected. Uh, NSFW a little maybe. Jennifer has focused the action on the peeping, cleaned up Jillian's construction site, and rained down on her a plague of bugs. What do the bugs mean? Reference to the Bible? My Bible study turned up nothing about voyeurism, bikini-clad women, and bugs...aisde from my suspicion that God would frown upon such things...so we may have to wait until Jillian's return to get some clarification.
