Anne Ward's Layer 6 Commentary

British Sex, It’s Complicated

And it’s a confident reposte from Rex, who takes Cookie’s codpiece and keeps it firmly below the belt. I can hardly bear to look at those words spurting out of the tip there. It’s just too rude!

At least it solves the mystery of the last volley about what is all in there. Like a Scotsman and his sporran, for an Englishman, a codpiece is part clothing, part manbag. In true English tradition Wham! Brought this right up to date in the 1980s by keeping shuttlecocks down their Y-fronts.

Anyway, this looks to me like the codpiece of a retired general. Does it belong to Major General Farquharson from volley 3, perhaps? It appears a fish has crept in, (a cod?) which can happen in battle and that skull looks just about the right size for a defeated sea beastie. I'm not sure what to make of the rest - three jacks, some Chipsticks and a Pontefract cake?

Where is Cookie going to go with that?
