Werk brings it home. I was worried we'd seen the last of the Delorean back in Layer 4, but low and behold, Our Swedish combatants have decided that Layer 7, being an auspicious number, is a good time to look back on the long trail of carnage behind them.
In keeping with the retrospective vibe, the scene closes with our new heroine, Jaded Threadless Model Girl, sporting the same red glow that started this mess in the first place.
OMG! Flash of insight: She is actually just a human manifestation of the pyramid! This is blowing my mind, people. Look out, Doc and Marty, you're not safe yet, even if your car has magically become the size North America.
All this nostalgia is nice, but there are three more rounds to go. By now, I imagine DK and Werk are both fighting to keep their energy levels high. Werk has the disadvantage, given the timezone difference. But then again they have Viking blood coursing through their veins. So that kinda evens things out.
