Matthew Baldwin's Layer 10 Commentary

Do the Donkey Kong

Wow, did any childhood love of mine go unmentioned today? Movies and radios and computers and stories and now video games? There was a conspicuous lack of "Six Million Dollar Man" and "mostly nekkid Sears catalog ladies", but aside from that I think we hit all the highlights.

The final wipe ends things on a clean note, and clears the slate for next week's match. And Mitch closes down the joint with a parting reference to the Donkey Kong kill screen. I thought Anton Chekhov did that a little better in the final paragraph of The Cherry Orchard, but this was still masterfully played.

If you're a Season Ticket holder (and why aren't you), you know what needs doing to determine the winner that will be announced on Monday. The rest a'ya feel free to champion your favorite by including a #lyt in your relevant tweets.

Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Matthew Baldwin.
