Glass played much of his previous match outdoors, camera in hand. Clearly that strategy was not an option today. Have you ever been outdoors in Ohio in January? It's a frozen hell hole, and an unphotogenic one at that. So Glass has taken his game indoors, and he's showing that he can play the structured layout game, too.
We see the return of our infographic meta navigation elements, and in the corner, our damsel in distress. But the star of the show remains our plucky beverage vessel. The circular layout, translucency, white background, and overall sense of playfulness clearly bring to mind Apple's late-'90s iMac campaign.
Deduct one technical points from Glass's score for the fact that the navigational capsules no longer quite align with the corresponding volley numbers underneath. Wait... this just in from the control booth...The page itself has been adjusted and the in-volley marks now *do* align with the numbers underneath.
But perhaps more problematically, consider how this volley shows that Inman's original design can't scale to accommodate all 10 volleys -- we're only at volley 6 and already the "Next Stop" marker is up against the edge of the screen.
