Play-By-Play Commentary

Bunny’s Not Just the Crazy Girl on Wings

This is a near perfect reconstruction of that day in February of 1998 when Cubs announcer Harry Caray was killed after a tourist dropped a pair of cinnamon sticks from the observation deck of the Hancock Building.

Peace and quiet was always a phrase that bugged me. You can't logically have war and quiet, despite what Erich Maria Remarque says. And Peace and loud doesn't make any sense. I think the first guy who said that must have been misquoted. Like maybe he really said "peace and quinine," as in, "Now that my malaria is cured I can finally get some sleep around here."

Geez these volleys are coming fast.

You know how at the end of the NCAA basketball tourney CBS airs a retrospective montage? Yeah, it's sorta like that, only with better music. jc-07.10
