Of all the fates that could have befallen our, uh, fallen, I definitely didn't see that coming. Skateboarders will recognize that curve as a half-pipe transition, though Rune Glifberg usually doesn't have to contend with monsters. It's nice that some rebirth came from their demise, though that Edward Gorey-looking plant is a bit sinister looking.
I like the consistency of the match so far, there's been just enough variation to keep it interesting, but we're reaching the middle of the match, where the big changes usually take place. Something as simple as night falling could shake things up nicely. I'd still say this is the tightest match ever, and one of the most collaborative, keep up the good work, boys.
If you're enjoying this collaboration, you should know that Trevor and James have worked together before for a Star Wars Lego project. I think that took a bit more time than this, and surely paid better (be sure to watch all three!).
Soundtrack to this volley: "Freakscene" by Dinosaur Jr. Not sure why that fits, but it does.
Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Bryan Bedell.
