Play-By-Play Commentary

Press Start

Scott can't let this Atari controller go. But this volley he's offering a second controller, a chance, perhaps, to say, "Two can play at this game, but it's going to be Ms. Pac-Man, and I get to be Player 1."

I'm happy to see we haven't lost the 70's style completely with this round, but what was once the palette of a basement rec room has moved solidly into the opening titles of a blaxploitation film. I'm hearing Isaac Hayes crooning in the background. "Totally, baby."

Where do we go from here? To the hot pink fluff of the 80's? Back to the muted mustards of the 60's? There are two different possible directions if these arrows are to be believed.

You're damn right.

Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Alissa Walker.
