Play-By-Play Commentary

When Billie Beat Bobby

Oh, snap.

This is Marian's way of saying, oh really? You teach me? Are you out of your mind?

With a nod to the historic 1973 Battle of the Sexes between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs where she used his lily-white man ass to mop up the tennis court, Marian serves a layer that calls upon both previous layers: the butterflies headed toward the edge of the layer, the hairball chasing their tails, and the original Etch-a-Sketch font mocking Armin.

This is my kind of volley, one that transforms and expands on previous elements, one that smacks me in the face with concept and execution.

Play by play commentary for this match is provided, as it happens, by Heather Armstrong.
