Okay, well, one tangent: You know how the newest Nas record was supposed to be a big hit, and Jay promised to back off and play record executive during the release and let his former public enemy rack points, and then he didn't?
Right. So Naz has one final round, and it's not too late. He could come out big and wow us all. After all, he's dating Kelis. Will the milk man shake it up? I am ready to be brought to the yard. And they're like: We shall see.

Tomorrow we continue our series of live, experimental Layer Tennis Exhibitions with a motion graphics match between Matt Smithson and Daniel Oeffinger. As usual, the action starts at 2pm Chicago time. Check the time in your area. What is unusual is that the match won't finish until next Thursday. We'll be posting two layers per weekday. We've always wondered what would happen if we gave a couple artists a lot more time to do each volley and this week we'll find out.
