Play-By-Play Commentary

My God,
It’s Full of Stars

That olive branch that Anderson extended? It's on fire. The bird has been run through with a sword. Mr. Teepee? Angry as all hell. One of Anderson's mountains has been shot with an arrow and another is wearing a fake mustache. And I'm definitely picking up a playing card motif.

Early in the match, I was favoring Anderson. His humor and temporal shenanigans really did it for me. With this blistering return of a tepid last shot, Harrington has captured the momentum of the match. After some reflection, I do believe that Harrington set Anderson's olive branch aflame. But, he also extended one of his own, unwilling to let Anderson make the peace alone. That hole in the middle of the scene with the ladder...Harrington has offered Anderson an escape route. A second escape route, rather, after Anderson failed to capitalize fully on the ocean/cliff thing in volley #5.

Late thought: Or, is that ladder to the stars too obvious? Time -- and Anderson's return -- will tell.

P.S. From the forums: "Very Dada, adding that mustache to the red and yellow mountain." Indeed. Here's Marcel Duchamp's Mona Lisa with added mustache and goatee.
